Description

When the man they both loved is murdered, two women find their lives irrevocably bound together by grief, suspicion, and loss. One is imprisoned for a crime she insists she did not commit, while the other retreats into a catatonic state, unable to face the devastating aftermath. As each struggles along a different path toward survival, the novel explores the fragile nature of memory, the consequences of injustice, and the complicated bonds forged through tragedy.
