Description
In this incisive collection, Noor Hindi asks what political poetry can do—and what it means to turn history into something you can feel. Moving through poems that braid together colonialism, religion, patriarchy, and the intimate aftermath of trauma, the book bears witness with sharp wit and lyrical precision. Each piece layers voice and memory to interrogate identity from multiple angles, refusing easy answers while insisting on the urgency of art. With a style that is both innovative and emotionally exacting, these poems become a sustained provocation: about survival, about representation, and about what it truly takes to change the world.

2.5/5. i really wanted to like this more and it does have some stellar moments. but overall it it was a little repetitive (not in a through-line way) and i really did not care for the content and structure of the poems in part 3
