Description

In a post-nuclear future, a government agency tracks down mutants born from the devastation of war, fearing the strange abilities they possess. Among them is Cris, a striking golden-haired man whose gift allows him to perceive possible futures—and whose inscrutable behavior makes him both a potential threat and an object of fascination. As authorities attempt to understand and control him, the story explores free will, human evolution, fear of the unknown, and the consequences of judging intelligence by familiar standards. With characteristic speculative boldness, the narrative turns a tense pursuit into a provocative meditation on what it means to be human.
