Description
In this inventive novella, two warehouse workers at a massive furniture superstore discover a mysterious door that leads to an impossible maze of endless aisles and alternate realities. When one of them vanishes into the labyrinth, the other must navigate through shifting corridors, strange dimensions, and surreal encounters to find their way back. Nino Cipri crafts a darkly comedic and unsettling exploration of corporate monotony, queer identity, and the disorienting nature of late-stage capitalism, where the familiar becomes alien and the mundane transforms into the uncanny. With sharp wit and imaginative world-building, this novella examines how we navigate systems designed to confuse and contain us, both literally and metaphorically. A haunting yet humorous tale that lingers long after the final page.
