Description

In *Redemption Song*, Quan Barry weaves a moving story of loss, endurance, and the long, complicated work of coming back to oneself. Across shifting moments and intimate encounters, characters confront what they’ve survived and what they still owe—to family, to community, and to the future they’re trying to build. The novel explores themes of forgiveness, moral reckoning, and the ways music, memory, and storytelling can carry people through grief and toward renewal. With Barry’s lyrical, emotionally precise style, the book offers a high-stakes, human-scale journey that feels both deeply personal and quietly expansive.
