Description
Eleven-year-old Nate Wright is a sixth-grade record holder for detentions, and his talent for finding trouble is rivaled only by his confidence that he can outsmart any challenge—including a surprise pop quiz. At P.S. 38, everyday school mishaps quickly become comic adventures involving friends, classmates, teachers, and the consequences of Nate’s big personality. Blending lively illustrations with fast-paced humor, the story explores friendship, school life, rivalry, and the sometimes painful—but often hilarious—process of growing up. A spirited choice for readers who enjoy irreverent middle-grade comedy and larger-than-life characters.
