Description
Max, a mischievous young boy, is sent to his room without supper after a night of wild antics. There, his imagination takes flight, transforming his bedroom into a jungle and transporting him to an island inhabited by fearsome Wild Things. These creatures, with their terrible roars and gnashing teeth, crown Max their king, and he leads them in a joyous, chaotic 'wild rumpus.' Yet, even amidst the revelry, Max begins to long for the comfort and love of home, ultimately choosing to return to the familiar warmth of his mother's embrace.
