Description
Jaxon is sent to spend the day with a “mean old lady” his mother calls Ma—only to discover she isn’t family at all, but a powerful witch with a secret mission. When baby dragons need to be delivered to a magical world where they can be safe, Jaxon must step up, trust his instincts, and learn what it really means to help others. Along the way, he navigates wonder and danger, testing his courage as he forms an unexpected bond with Ma and the creatures she protects. With Zetta Elliott’s warm, imaginative storytelling and accessible humor, this adventure explores themes of belonging, kindness, and the surprising ways family can be chosen.
