Description
In a far-future universe of fish-shaped spaceships, drifting asteroids, and ruined space cathedrals, Mia joins the crew of the maintenance vessel Aktis, helping restore lost architecture among the stars. As the crew travels from one extraordinary work site to another, Mia is drawn back into memories of her boarding-school romance with Grace, whose sudden disappearance still haunts her. Told through two interwoven timelines, this lyrical graphic novel explores first love, friendship, grief, belonging, and the courage required to repair what has been broken. Rendered in Tillie Walden’s evocative, distinctive three-color artwork, it is an expansive yet intimate story of queer love and found family.
