In this collection, Duanwad Pimwana masterfully explores the lives of ordinary and working-class Thais, capturing their quiet aspirations and the routines that often suspend them. The titular story, "Arid Dreams," offers a poignant look at a traveler returning to a once-cherished locale, now transformed by time and circumstance.
