Description
An amateur jockey and barrister, Mason divides his time between the courtroom and the dangerous exhilaration of steeplechasing. When a fellow rider is brutally murdered at Sandown, suspicion falls on champion jockey Steve Mitchell, and the evidence appears damning. Determined to uncover what truly happened, Mason finds himself navigating a treacherous world of rivalries, hidden motives, and corruption within the racing community. Drawing on the author’s firsthand knowledge of British horse racing, this tense thriller explores justice, loyalty, and the high cost of uncovering the truth.
