Description

In the secluded town of Black Dog, residents have long believed that catastrophe belongs to the outside world—until two fishermen return from the local lake carrying a rapidly evolving infection. As illness spreads and violence erupts, the community’s familiar bonds fracture beneath the pressure of fear, desperation, and survival. Over the course of five final days, those left alive are forced to confront the fragility of civilization, the true cost of human cruelty, and the uncertain value of hope in a world descending into darkness. This tense, atmospheric horror novel combines apocalyptic dread with a haunting exploration of what people become when the rules of society disappear.
