Description
This hilarious and sharp memoir offers a no-holds-barred look at the life of Babe Walker, a self-proclaimed "center of the universe" whose privileged existence is anything but simple. Facing the consequences of extreme shopping habits and a penchant for the finer things, Babe finds herself in shopping rehab, prompting her to chronicle the absurd yet relatable "problems" of her meticulously curated life. Through witty observations and a satirical lens, the book delves into themes of perfectionism, identity, and the often-comical struggles of navigating modern socialite culture. Babe Walker's distinctive voice shines through, delivering an unforgettable and laugh-out-loud account that is both a social commentary and a deeply personal, albeit unconventional, journey.
