Description

Set in 18th-century Bosnia under Ottoman rule, *Death and the Dervish* follows Sheikh Nuruddin, a dervish devoted to his monastic life. His world is shattered when his brother, Harun, is imprisoned and sentenced to death. Driven by a desperate need to save his sibling, Nuruddin embarks on a futile quest through the labyrinthine corridors of power and justice. As he navigates this complex system, he grapples with his spiritual vows, earthly desires, and the stark realities of a corrupt world, questioning the very nature of faith and freedom.
