i'm gonna be so fucking real with you? if it weren't for how down bad i was over the staryk king, i would not have finished this. i was fine making my way through the first 50% of this, but around 70% i realized how much i hated it and could no longer tolerate it. the good in it was officially outweighed by the rest of the utter shit. 6 unlabeled POVs, 4 of which were women written in the same voice, that alternated frequently within a single chapter should be illegal. writing the 2nd biggest battle entirely from the perspective of a like 8 year old boy who doesn't know anyone's names should be illegal. i don't need an eloquent depiction of the battle and little stepon does deserve a POV during it, but not the whole thing. if it weren't for the final wedding, this would have been 1 star. but i'm as you can guess down bad for that icy bitch.
