Description
In Tokyo, a young schoolteacher who loves classic crime stories finds that everyday life is full of puzzles—some small and strange, others dangerously close to the truth. When her grandfather, a former member of the famed Waseda Mystery Club, begins to slip into dementia yet still retains a razor-sharp instinct for patterns, the two form an unlikely detective partnership, “weaving stories” to untangle locked-room impossibilities and baffling disappearances. As their cases grow more intricate, a troubling shadow from the granddaughter’s past starts to surface, turning cozy sleuthing into something far more personal. Blending warm, relationship-driven healing with a playful, genre-savvy homage to masters like Christie, Chesterton, and Poe, this mystery delivers both comfort and suspense in equal measure.
