Description
In a quiet fishing village, a young turtle named Chunky Rice feels the pull of a life beyond the familiar shores he shares with his closest friend. When he finally sets out on a journey of self-discovery, his departure brings both excitement and the ache of leaving home behind. Set in a gentle, immersive world where humans and cartoon animals live side by side, this poignant graphic novel explores friendship, loneliness, change, and the courage it takes to follow an uncertain path. Craig Thompson’s tender, expressive storytelling gives the book a comforting warmth while capturing the bittersweet beauty of growing apart and moving forward.
