Description
Across nine interconnected stories, the lives of Filipinos and members of the Filipino diaspora unfold in settings spanning the globe. Teachers, domestic workers, parents, children, and other ordinary people confront separation, sacrifice, class, and the complicated pull of home. With keen psychological insight and compassionate prose, the collection examines how migration reshapes identity and how people seek belonging across physical and emotional borders. It introduces a powerful literary voice attuned to the enduring human need for connection.
