Description
In a desolate seaside hotel, a quiet seventeen-year-old named Mari finds herself captivated by the voice of a mysterious, middle-aged translator. Drawn into a world of intense desire and unconventional intimacy, Mari embarks on a clandestine affair that challenges her understanding of love and connection. As their relationship deepens, it leads her to explore the complex interplay of pain and pleasure, pushing the boundaries of societal norms and her own burgeoning desires. This novel masterfully explores the often-violent expressions of human intimacy and the untranslatable nature of profound affection.
