Description
A bullied, isolated teenager discovers that he possesses extraordinary powers—and acquires a devastating ray gun that gives his resentment a frightening outlet. As Andy and his only friend, the brash but loyal Louie, navigate adolescence, their uneasy friendship gradually bends toward rivalry, forcing them to confront the consequences of power, cruelty, and alienation. With its stark visual style and darkly satirical take on superhero conventions, the graphic novel explores the troubling depths of human nature beneath the fantasy of becoming extraordinary.
