Description
What if an ordinary teenager decided to become a superhero without any superpowers? Dave Lizewski does exactly that, crafting a homemade suit and adopting the name Kick-Ass to transform his mundane life into something extraordinary. Armed with nothing but determination and a viral video that makes him an internet sensation, Dave plunges into New York City's criminal underworld—only to discover that real villainy is far more brutal and dangerous than anything he imagined. As other masked vigilantes emerge from the shadows and the stakes escalate beyond his control, Dave must confront the terrifying reality that his reckless ambition might cost him everything. Mark Millar's audacious superhero saga challenges the genre's conventions, delivering a raw, visceral tale of what happens when fantasy collides with the unforgiving streets of reality.
