Rurouni Kenshin, Vol. 1: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story
Rurouni Kenshin · Book 1Description
In the tumultuous Meiji Restoration era, a legendary assassin known as Hitokiri Battosai, who once wielded a bloodstained blade to usher in a new age, has vanished, becoming a figure of myth. Now, a century and a half later, a humble rurouni, or wandering swordsman named Himura Kenshin, arrives in Tokyo. He dedicates his life to protecting the innocent and upholding justice with his reverse-blade sword, a symbol of his vow to never kill again. This epic tale blends thrilling swordplay, historical intrigue, and the promise of romance as Kenshin navigates a world still scarred by its violent past.
