i'm an avid reader and don't need any of the tips hwang boreum offers, but i also don't think any of these tips were particularly ground breaking. they were all common observations of reading options and behaviors with little added nuance. #3 was GET A JOB and she then describes being so burnt out and depressed from her job that she had to read... which isn't a healthy reading habit lol. i also think she's probably a little insane for thinking a 600 page art history book <i>isn't</i> a niche gift. but her friend who used a holocaust survivor's identification number as her passcode was also insane (without knowing him personally). so there's that.
