Description
In this heartwarming novel, readers meet Zinkoff, a boy who marches to the beat of his own drum, often with hilariously wrong answers and an infectious laugh. Despite not always fitting the mold, Zinkoff navigates childhood with a unique perspective, finding joy in the everyday and embracing his individuality. As he grows from first to sixth grade, his differences, which others might overlook, ultimately reveal a remarkable strength and the profound importance of embracing failure on the path to becoming a hero. Jerry Spinelli masterfully crafts a story celebrating the power of being true to oneself and the unexpected triumphs that can arise from not conforming.
