Description
This lyrical collection moves through the charged terrain of love and grief, tracing what it means to keep searching when answers are out of reach. Across poems and reflective pieces, the book follows characters and speakers as they confront sacrifice, longings that refuse to fade, and the fragile hope of absolution. With a voice that feels intimate and searching, it asks how we carry loss, how we return to ourselves, and what “rising” can mean when healing is not a straight line. Part meditation and part emotional reckoning, these words illuminate the spaces between devotion and doubt, mourning and renewal.

i consume and consume and consume your grief until there's no hunger left. because i haven't learned how to sit alone with my own sorrow yet, eyeing it up on a dinner plate i left untouched. it's easier to try yours on for size. like slipping on someone else's shoes to grab the mail. to run down to the store. to escape. for a little while. i have watched your battle, sometimes endless, against the tide of loss and decided to find home in your words. because they fit right. when castiel gripped dean tight and raised him from perdition, he saved you too. and in a way you saved me.
