Description
Izzy Gizmo is a feisty young inventor who carries her tool bag everywhere—ready to mend, tweak, and improve the world around her. But when her clever creations don’t work the way she hopes, her frustration bubbles over, until she meets a crow with a broken wing and realizes that helping someone else may require more than just machines. With a lively, read-aloud rhyming narrative and exuberant, detailed illustrations, this story blends playful engineering imagination with a heartfelt friendship. Themes of perseverance, creativity, and learning to manage big feelings shine through as Izzy discovers the power of patience and teamwork. Written in Pip Jones’s energetic, character-driven style and brought to life by Sara Ogilvie’s vivid artwork, this empowering book is a delight for fans of inventive, determined girls.
