Description
Two rival rowers at Cambridge—heartthrob George, admitted for his sporting talent, and Lucas, an economics whiz who’s earned every inch of his place—strike a deal to fix each other’s problems. When a scandal over George’s academic “preferential treatment” forces him to study for real, Lucas agrees to tutor him on the condition that George helps Lucas finally win over his long-time crush. But as tutoring turns into flirtation, and strategy turns into messy, high-stakes romance, their carefully planned schemes collide with team rivalries, Oxford competition, and the pressure of proving themselves on and off the water. With sharp wit, queer heart, and the momentum of a true sports rom-com, this story explores ambition, fairness, and the surprising ways connection can grow from the people you least expect.
