Description
Facing eviction, Cassie Greenberg jumps at an unbelievably affordable apartment—only to discover her new roommate, Frederick, is far more mysterious than the listing suggested. As Cassie navigates his nocturnal habits and strange rules, she begins to suspect the truth: Frederick is an old vampire who has been in a coma for a century and is trying to relearn life in the 21st. Told with rom-com charm and an epistolary twist, their growing connection unfolds through exchanged notes and increasingly hilarious attempts at normalcy. At its heart, the story explores reinvention, belonging, and the unexpected ways love can turn fear into laughter—delivered in Jenna Levine’s witty, lighthearted debut style.
