Taproot: A Story About A Gardener and A Ghost

Description

For a year, Blue has lived as a ghost—watching the world from the edges of life—until he meets Hamal, a gentle gardener who can see and speak with spirits. Their unlikely friendship grows into something tender and real, but the boundary between the living and the dead keeps tightening around Blue’s heart. When Blue discovers that Hamal’s unusual gift may be drawing danger closer, he must confront a painful choice: protect Hamal by staying close, or protect him by letting go. Blending quiet romance with haunting wonder, this story explores love, longing, and the cost of connection—told in Keezy Young’s lyrical, emotionally intimate style.
