Description
Billy Twitters is supposed to be good at following rules—until his mother’s “threat” becomes a real, life-changing purchase. Suddenly he’s the proud (and very unpopular) owner of a blue whale, an enormous responsibility that turns everyday school life into a series of awkward, inventive challenges. As Billy tries to manage his whale problem while navigating friendships, embarrassment, and the pressure to fit in, he discovers what it really means to take ownership of your choices. With Mac Barnett’s playful, fast-paced storytelling and wry humor, this book blends mischief and heart to explore themes of responsibility, consequences, and the surprising ways family can shape who we become.
