Description

In a world where faith, identity, and power collide, this sharp, surreal novel follows a group of people drawn into a tightly controlled “camp” that promises transformation while testing the limits of consent, belief, and belonging. As rules tighten and loyalties are challenged, the story builds toward a reckoning that exposes how easily institutions can weaponize vulnerability—and how resistance can take unexpected forms. With Chuck Tingle’s signature blend of humor, intensity, and genre-bending imagination, the book explores themes of coercion versus agency, the performance of righteousness, and the search for selfhood in spaces designed to break you. Equal parts unsettling and cathartic, it’s a provocative read that asks what it really means to be changed—and who gets to decide.
