Description
When a deadly encounter forces a forester into hiding, Robin turns to the depths of Sherwood Forest, where he gathers a band of loyal companions to resist the Sheriff of Nottingham’s tyranny. Joined by Marian, Little John, Much, Friar Tuck, and other familiar figures, Robin embraces the dangerous life of an outlaw—challenging injustice, protecting the powerless, and defying the authorities who hunt him. This richly imagined retelling explores loyalty, courage, freedom, love, and the moral complexities behind the legend of robbing the rich to aid the poor. With vivid prose and thoughtfully developed women at its center, the novel brings contemporary depth and emotional nuance to the enduring Robin Hood myth.
