The Player and the Pixie

Description

A self-proclaimed “refund-worthy” rugby star and a fiercely independent young woman with a talent for getting into trouble collide in a romantic comedy that’s equal parts banter, vulnerability, and unexpected chemistry. Lucy Fitzpatrick is tired of living in the shadow of her infamous brother and her mother’s constant micromanagement, while Sean Cassidy has a reputation for being cold-hearted—despite the way he can’t seem to stay out of Lucy’s orbit. When a no-nonsense arrangement forces them to help each other with very personal problems, their deal turns into something far more complicated, testing what they think they want and what they truly need. With Penny Reid and L.H. Cosway’s sharp, witty style and emotionally grounded storytelling, this is a story about family expectations, second chances, and learning to trust love when the world insists you’re only one thing.
