Lessons On Being Tenderheaded

by Janae Johnson

Description

In this intimate, empowering collection, Janae Johnson explores what it means to be “tenderheaded”—to feel deeply, to carry history in the body, and to navigate the world with honesty and care. Through lyrical reflections and grounded moments of self-discovery, the book follows a high-level journey of learning boundaries, reclaiming softness, and transforming vulnerability into strength. At its core, it examines themes of identity, emotional resilience, healing, and the everyday power of tenderness in relationships and community. With a voice that feels both personal and universally resonant, Johnson’s style blends warmth and clarity to offer readers language for their own experiences and a path toward gentler living.
