The Redemption of Althalus
Description
In a universe teetering on the brink of oblivion, the unlikeliest of heroes emerges: Althalus, a notorious thief, liar, and scoundrel. When a mysterious goddess-like cat named Dweia steals his heart and manipulates time itself, Althalus is thrust into a millennia-spanning battle against an ancient god bent on returning existence to nothingness. Though he remains a rogue at heart, Althalus must now rally a disparate band of individuals, none of whom have reason to trust him, to confront a cosmic threat. This standalone epic from the celebrated mythmakers David and Leigh Eddings masterfully blends humor, adventure, and profound themes of redemption against a backdrop of dazzling imagination.
