Description
Investment manager Tim Ekaterin takes a daring gamble by committing millions to the breeding of a champion racehorse, only to discover that the resulting foals suffer mysterious birth defects. As his suspicions turn toward deliberate sabotage, the death of a stable worker draws him into a dangerous investigation involving corruption, racing interests, and enormous sums of money. With threats mounting and trust in short supply, Tim must uncover the truth before the conspiracy claims another victim—and puts his own life at risk. Set against the tightly controlled, high-stakes world of British horse racing, this gripping thriller combines financial intrigue, moral dilemmas, and the authors’ trademark atmosphere of suspense.
