Description

In a story that moves between longing and reinvention, a young woman confronts the complicated pull of desire, memory, and the stories she tells herself about who she is. As relationships deepen and choices tighten, she navigates the emotional fallout of intimacy—where hope can feel like a lifeline and vulnerability can become its own kind of risk. With sharp, lyrical prose and a keen eye for the interior life, this novel explores themes of love, identity, and the ways we dream our way through uncertainty. Blending immediacy with emotional depth, it offers a resonant, character-driven journey into what it means to want—and to be wanted—without losing your own voice.

melissa lozada-oliva i love your work but this was just not it. it didn’t crest the summersault into surrealist horror or stick the landing back into poetry.
