Description
After a violent mugging leaves Lieutenant Vincent Mora recuperating in Puerto Rico, a chance encounter with Iris draws him into a dangerous new chapter. But the past refuses to stay buried: Teddy Magyk, the serial rapist Mora helped imprison, is stalking him with a chilling determination. As personal vulnerability collides with professional instinct, Mora must navigate a tense world of obsession, revenge, desire, and justice. Marked by Elmore Leonard’s lean prose, sharp dialogue, and darkly ironic view of crime, this is a gripping psychological thriller about the perilous reach of the past.
