Description
Ian is a rule-follower, but his sister Jenny treats every guideline like a suggestion—especially the one about pinching. When their family vacation brings them to a house with a strict, neatly posted list of rules, Ian is delighted…until Jenny tests every boundary and the home responds in kind. As the house’s “helpful” fixtures and rooms turn mischievous and hungry, Ian and Jenny must navigate a growing set of consequences that blur the line between play and peril. With Mac Barnett’s sharp wit and imaginative, storybook-creepy energy, this fast-paced tale explores sibling rivalry, accountability, and the surprising power of rules—especially when they’re watching back.
