Description
After a beloved tabby cat named Fuuta passes into the afterlife, he discovers that the bond with his human, Michiru, isn’t truly broken—there are fragile openings between the living and the dead. Determined to reunite, Fuuta takes a job at Café Pont, a liminal café where customers leave requests and a messenger cat arranges “meetings” across worlds. But every delivery demands careful restraint: one wrong move could terrify the living or even destabilize the universe’s delicate balance. With warmth, humor, and a quietly poignant sense of wonder, this story explores grief and devotion, the ethics of second chances, and the comfort found in small acts of connection—told in a gentle, character-driven style that makes the supernatural feel intimate.
