Description
In a remote, fortified castle, four powerful men embark on an extreme exploration of carnal desires, detached from societal constraints. Over 120 days, they orchestrate a systematic descent into the darkest corners of human sexuality, where pleasure is inextricably linked with cruelty and absolute power. This infamous work delves into the philosophical underpinnings of libertinism, questioning morality, authority, and the very nature of consent through a series of increasingly transgressive acts. Sade's unflinching prose confronts the reader with the extremes of human behavior, challenging conventional notions of good and evil.
