Description
In the stark beauty of northern Norway, a pastor named Liv grapples with profound questions of faith and loss following the unexpected death of her friend Kristiane. Seeking solace and a new beginning, Liv accepts a position in a remote parish, only to find herself drawn into the complex history of the region and the narratives of its past. As she navigates her new role and confronts the lingering shadows of Kristiane's life, Liv begins to question the stories we tell ourselves and the truths that lie beneath the surface. This introspective novel explores themes of grief, memory, and the search for meaning in the face of uncertainty.
