Description
A mysterious assignment sends Randall Drew to Moscow to investigate threats against a royally connected contender for the Olympic Games. With only a vague brief and an unseen adversary, Drew must navigate secret meetings, constant surveillance, and a city where every question may attract dangerous attention. As the pressure mounts, the investigation draws him into a perilous world of political intrigue, betrayal, and escalating violence. Set against the tense atmosphere of the late Soviet era, this is a fast-moving thriller that expands Dick Francis’s customary suspense into international espionage.
