Description
In a quiet Argentine town, a seamstress's world is upended by a sudden, overwhelming premonition: her young son has been kidnapped and is being taken to the distant, wild expanse of Patagonia. What follows is a narrative that defies conventional storytelling, weaving a tale of pursuit and uncertainty with Aira's signature blend of surrealism and sharp wit. The story masterfully explores themes of maternal instinct, the unpredictable nature of fate, and the thin veil between reality and imagination. Readers will be captivated by a plot that twists and turns unexpectedly, offering a unique and exhilarating literary experience that challenges expectations at every page.
