Mog the Forgetful Cat

by Judith Kerr

Description

Mog is a lovable, curious cat—until his forgetfulness turns everyday life into a series of charming mysteries. Each time he tries to remember what he’s doing, where he’s been, or what he was looking for, Mog’s missteps lead to new discoveries, unexpected encounters, and plenty of gentle humor. Through Mog’s shifting thoughts and routines, the story explores memory, independence, and the comforting rhythm of learning from small mistakes. With Judith Kerr’s warm, expressive storytelling and endearing character work, this is a delightful read for children who love playful adventures and reassuring, everyday magic.

a very good friend of mine read this book out loud during a twitch livestream as a community event (2 years in the making) because it's similar to his screen name. it was a shockingly sad book at times, but also very cute. but what was most important was having fun with my grown adult friends while we all listened to him read. and of course, mog gets an egg.
