Description
In this modern retelling of "Beauty and the Beast," wealthy and arrogant high school student Kyle Kingsbury is cursed by a classmate he scorned, transforming him into a hideous beast. He has one year to find someone who can love him despite his monstrous appearance, or he will remain a beast forever. Forced to hide his true self and grapple with his inner demons, Kyle must confront his superficiality and learn the true meaning of beauty and love. Alex Flinn masterfully blends contemporary realism with classic fairy tale elements, exploring themes of inner beauty, redemption, and the power of love to transform even the most beastly of hearts.
