Description
In Paris, Madame Chapeau is a gifted hat maker who knows exactly how to match people with the hats that fit their lives—yet she can’t seem to find the right “hat” for herself. Each year on her birthday, she steps out in her beloved bonnet, only for a mischievous crow to snatch it away and send her on a playful chase through the city. As she runs, neighbors offer her a parade of possibilities, turning a lost favorite into an unexpected journey of self-discovery. With its bright, whimsical picture-book storytelling and Andrea Beaty’s lively, character-driven charm, this tale celebrates identity, community, and the joy of trying on new perspectives—one hat at a time.
