my love for michael corleone is so blinding oh i need him SO BAAAAADDDDDDD. but i gotta be real... this book is objectively not great despite my 4/5. its dated, horrifically sexist, and definitely written by a man in that cringe way men write women. johnny fontane is one of the limpest noodle men on earth and him being a primary character with prolonged POVs was excruciating. lucy having an extremely out of place scene all about her pelvic reconstruction was the most confusing thing on earth. why am i hearing more about sonny's affair than his actual wife and kids??? the scenes with michael, tom, and vito are all god tier. ABOVE ALL ELSE michael's romance with apollonia basically being the plot of an omegaverse fated mates romance novel sent me through the roof BROOOOOO that was INSANE i love those freaks.
