Description
A seemingly idyllic life in Tokyo unravels as graphic designer Masayuki Kawashima grapples with a terrifying nocturnal urge. Driven by an almost unbearable compulsion, he finds himself drawn to his infant daughter's crib, ice pick in hand, battling a darkness that threatens to consume him. When this internal struggle escalates into a desperate attempt to confront his demons, Masayuki sets in motion a chain of events that spirals towards an unthinkable act. Ryū Murakami, renowned for his visceral and unsettling narratives, delivers a chilling exploration of the hidden anxieties and primal desires that lie beneath the surface of domestic bliss.
