LightFall

Description

After a string of violent incidents brands her as a danger, seventeen-year-old Luna is sent to a psychiatric hospital—only to meet a new doctor whose golden glow and unsettling confidence suggest her story isn’t what it seems. When he arranges her transfer to a school in Egypt for children with “angelic blood,” Luna must decide whether she’s truly insane or whether her past has been carefully hidden from her. In Alexandria, Caleb—an undercover Dark Nephilim student—arrives with a single mission: uncover the truth behind his grandfather’s entombment and the legacy of conquest tied to Alexander the Great. Their paths collide in a world where Lights and Darks are forbidden to love, and every secret they uncover threatens to turn their fragile connection into the very thing that destroys them. Blending slow-burn paranormal romance with enemies-to-lovers tension and a loose Romeo-and-Juliet retelling, this Origin Prophecy opener explores prejudice, identity, and the cost of inherited prophecies.
